I began DJing weddings in Hawaii in 2021 partnering with wedding planners Bliss in Bloom on the Big Island and on Maui! I have now performed over 15 weddings across the islands (Maui, Oahu and BigIsland).
One of the more memorable wedding days is that of Nicole Packard & Kyle Milligan on May 12, 2023 at Hale Wailele on Big Island. What started off as a beautiful day in one of the most picturesque venues I’ve ever DJed - filled with friends and family of this California based couple - turned unexpectedly at dinner into a rain storm. The weddings planners - Bliss In Bloom - had already planned ahead for this and had umbrellas on hand! I quickly decided to make a fun moment out of the rainfall and began DJing mix of rain-themed songs which got everyone dancing with their umbrellas. “It’s Raining Men†by the Weather girls, “Unwritten†by Natasha Beddingfield with lyrics “feel the rain on my skin,†“Rain on Me†by Lady Gaga and “Umbrella†by Rihanna were played + more!
